The Return of Piano-Led Worship
Take away the ceiling and a song has to reveal whether the melody can carry its own weight.

Piano-led worship is not automatically intimate. The instrument can be made as large and anonymous as any wall of guitars. Its real advantage is exposure.
With fewer places to hide, the tempo becomes audible, the lyric has room around it, and the singer has to decide which notes deserve weight. A weak melody feels lonely; a strong one feels sufficient.
The format keeps returning because it offers an honest rehearsal for the song. If it survives here, the larger arrangement is a choice rather than a rescue.
