Brandon Lake Leaves the Bruise in the Hallelujah
“Hard Fought Hallelujah” earns its lift by refusing easy triumph.

The title does most of the theological work before the first verse: praise can be costly and still count. Lake sings the verses with enough grain to make the cost audible.
When the record finally opens up, the size feels proportionate. It is arena worship built from a private admission rather than a slogan.
