Behind “YOUR WAY'S BETTER”
Forrest Frank — surrender written into the hook position.

In a pop song, the hook is where the wanting goes. Put surrender there instead and the whole emotional geometry changes.
That is the single most interesting decision in this record. Everything else — the soft drums, the close vocal, the runtime — is service to it.
Small on purpose
Nothing in the mix is reaching for an arena. The song is scaled for a pair of headphones, which is where its listener actually is, and that decision is why it travels rather than despite it.
Repetition instead of development
Across the song, the idea does not evolve. It recurs. “SUNRISE” uses the same architecture. It is closer to how a mantra works than how a bridge works, and it is a legitimate structural tradition — just not the one Christian radio was built on.
